The Vinyl project explored how visual design can communicate the themes and message of music without directly depicting the artist or existing album artwork. The project came with strict limitations on color, imagery, and sources of inspiration, making it a challenge to develop a distinctive visual direction. I used these restrictions to create a cohesive vinyl design that reflects the album’s message while incorporating visual themes associated with the band.
